In all honesty, DropTask is slowly driving me nuts in the interaction with Google Calendar:

- Clicking on Google Calendar to make an event (so half hour timeslot), makes it a start-date only, while it is an event of half an hour in Google with a start AND an end.
- If I make a longer event, it suddenly does get start and end.

This means I often can't find tasks in my due-date view, as I only made them half an hour.

Just be consistent here: always give it start & end date.
