Could coloured rings be added on the circumference of each task to show the estimated task progression? This could be entered as a simple number.2 votes
We have added the ability to divide a task into a number of sub tasks. Sub tasks are shown as task segments which light up when you complete them. This can be used to track the progress for a task. Please see our blog post for more details – http://blog.droptask.com/the-new-droptask-is-here/
This feature is now live. Login to DropTask and visit your user preferences to remove any of your contacts. (https://www.droptask.com/preferences)
I am using drop task on an iPad. When you add a new task the keyboard often totally obscures the box in which you are writing the task.
It would be useful if the box that you are writing in appeared above the keyboard so that you can see what you are writing.
Also. I could not see how to edit a group name once you had created it.1 vote
We have just released a native iPad app for DropTask with improved performance and usability.
You can download it from the App Store (https://itunes.apple.com/app/droptask-hd/id781388640)
Can we add multiple users on one task?1 vote
I would be easier if you could assign tasks to (new) project members of a (new) project before they have accepted an invite.
This way a project manager can already assign the different tasks to all co-laborating users when creating the tasks. Now you first have to create a new project, invite all members, wait for acceptance and then assign tasks.
It no problem if you can only assign members to task, which are already in your contact-list (instead of newly invited via e-mail)6 votes
We’ve now changed the way in which project invites work. Please see this blog post for further details – http://ow.ly/mqQaL
This change allows you to assign tasks to project members before they accept the invite.
When I enter comment (not sure at other text inputs) with diacritics (my main language is Czech) containing characters like "ěščřžýáíéů" and so on, it gots messed up.
Anyway your service is awesome :-) +14 votes
I usually have more than 3 projects going. Also, when I project is done I'd like to be able to export the project so it would remain together and archive.3 votes
would free up more space to focus on circles5 votes
This is now live. There is a show/hide tab on the project members and activity sidebar.
You are now able to change the email address that is associated with your DropTask account.
For more information on how to do this, please see this support article: http://support.droptask.com/knowledgebase/articles/332509-change-email-address
... would be really useful if you could use it to close the Task Dialogue as well.
This has now been fixed.
Programs like MindManager have the ability to show the graphic design in a text outline form. It would be nice to be able to switch views in DropTask between these two modes, and to print out the outline view.1 vote
We have introduced a list view in DropTask that allows you to see your project tasks in a more traditional way. For full details about the latest changes see the DropTask blog – http://blog.droptask.com/the-new-droptask-is-here/
Your site thinks Chrome on ChromeOS is a mobile browser and prevents use of the application1 vote
This is now resolved.
Love this tool but the work my team does is very fluid. We work with remaining effort estimates to keep track of progress rather than due dates since priorities change so rapidly. I would love to be able to scale the size of the circles by the remaining effort estimate.1 vote
Please make it possible to add a profile image...1 vote
You can set a profile image by clicking the box in the top right with your initials, the selecting ‘Preferences’. If you have any problems – please get back to us.
:D This makes me happy. Thank you!1 vote
Thank you for your comment! – glad you are enjoying DropTask!
Hi it would be great if the size of the circle could depend on the level of effort to achieve it. So it would be easier to schedule or attribute to people.3 votes
I'm not sure what the difference would be between Archive and Delete. I imagine that Archive means that you can pull up the items later for reference of past groups and tasks completed within that group? Then Delete would be just that. No need to Archive, just wipe them from existence.33 votes
It is possible to delete a group by selecting the edit button and then delete. See here for more information: http://support.droptask.com/knowledgebase/articles/420193-deleting-a-group
Have there be a way to set up and save a project template, wherein will contain someone generic groups/tasks that relate to similar/recurring projects that come up from time to time.53 votes
We have added the ability to create templates that you can use as a starting point for your projects. You can also save your existing projects as templates.
This feature is available in DropTask PRO only. For more information about DropTask PRO, and the other benefits it provides please visit https://www.droptask.com/pro
There is no way that I can see of to delete a project that you want to completely strike off the table as a whole and start over from scratch. Maybe have the equivalent of a Recycle Bin to help prevent accidental deletions?5 votes
This is now live. Simply click the settings cog on a project on the projects page and select ‘Delete Project’. This will only work for projects created by you (for projects shared with you, you will be able to leave the project instead).
