It would be useful to be able to indicate on tasks (other than in comments) how far into the task a person is. Obviously this wouldn't apply for all tasks, but for some being able to either put a percentage, or better yet a fraction (eg. pages read/document total) in order to get a better idea of how far along the task is.23 votes
We have added the ability to divide a task into a number of sub tasks. Sub tasks are shown as task segments which light up when you complete them. This can be used to track the progress for a task. Please see our blog post for more details – http://blog.droptask.com/the-new-droptask-is-here/
DropTask’s now has a Completed Task View providing a historic overview of everything that’s been accomplished so far.
Pretty self explanatory and must be easy to add to the program, we should get the possibility to divy-up tasks in more tasks.
Now: Project / group / task
After: Project / group / task / sub-task27 votes
This feature is now live! We have added the ability to divide a task up into a number of sub tasks. Please see our blog post for details – http://blog.droptask.com/the-new-droptask-is-here/
Every time I add a new project I have to re-invite people even if they are already participants in another of my projects. I would like the ability to add people instantly to new projects based on their participation in another project of mine.3 votes
Linking tasks with vertices, and the auto-flowing the diagram may present more information about task flow, as an alternative to precedent hierarchies found in traditional project planners (Gantt charts).36 votes
We recently released our Task Dependencies feature that allows you to connect tasks together to specify which order they should be completed.
Further details about this feature can be found at http://support.droptask.com/knowledgebase/articles/378972-droptask-pro-task-dependencies
Often one will look at a task and suddenly realize that it is actually a multi-step project. They will want to dump several tasks into it. Were one able to simply click and turn it into a group would be helpful.17 votes

YOU ARE ONTO SOMETHING HERE!!! seriously, i'm a highly competent project manager and i have imagined a visual tool like this for years (i'm obviously not a software engineer). I'm really excited.
what about a mobile app? at least to capture "things to add" to a project once you get back to your desk.24 votes
The official DropTask App is now available for your iPhone and iPad.
You can get it from the App Store (https://itunes.apple.com/app/droptask/id770930267/)
The Android app is now available to download in the Google Play Store:
Add the ability to have reminders for tasks. This is different from a due date, but is rather a "check in" that could recur on a given schedule. This would help with open ended items that you want to ensure you don't let get lost in the noise. The system would send an email on the date you indicate for the reminder.14 votes
We have added the ability to set reminders on tasks. You will be notified by email when the reminder is due.
This feature is available in DropTask PRO only. For more information about DropTask PRO, and the other benefits it provides please visit https://www.droptask.com/pro
If you have various members in a project and there are specific things say only administration/leaders should see, rather than creating a new project with just those members, have the ability to set who can see those particular groups/tasks.26 votes
It is possible to control what project members can see and do in a project by adjusting their permission level. Selecting an assign tasks only setting will mean members will only be able to see those tasks assigned to them in a project. For more info see here: http://support.droptask.com/knowledgebase/articles/421870-droptask-pro-project-permissions
My first thought using this system was that it would be nice to have a less nebulous and amorphous system, though keeping the same concept of visual drag and drop.
Having the option of using squares would allow for an easier to view/manage UI that you're not trying to contain like marbles.
It would also bring about potential for stacking, and, ordering (and maybe even resizing?)
Less simple and pressing than my suggestion "Reference tickets", however.23 votes
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave us feedback. We’re pleased to let you know that tasks within the Urgency Lists, Calendar, Workflow and Completed Tasks View are now block-shaped, stacking neatly for a more intuitive use of space. The shape of the tasks in these views give you greater visibility of what you need to get done, We hope you like the new update. Let us know what you think!
I'd like to see a true fullscreen option that just centers on the Venn diagram itself and slides back the header and side bars.4 votes
This feature is now live! We’ve made a number of changes to the interface of DropTask, including adding a fullscreen option. See our blog post for more details about the changes – http://blog.droptask.com/the-new-droptask-is-here/
i need to be able to delete invites or resend emails.5 votes
It is now possible to resend the invite email to a user. Click the user avatar in the left sidebar, and click the Resend Invitation button.
Would be nice export the information I entered in the Drop Task to a XML, just for backup purposes.3 votes
We have added the ability to export your project data using either CSV, or JSON. The JSON format is a complete export of all groups and tasks (including all task data such as comments, attachments, etc). While we haven’t implemented an XML export, we may consider this in the future. Checkout the DropTask blog for more details on the export feature http://blog.droptask.com/export-your-droptask-projects-to-csv/
How about the Add Contact integrate with Google Contact? So that we can add someone by input part of their name or email and let the auto complete do the job?
DropTask now integrates with Google Contacts and Google Calendar. See the blog post for more details http://blog.droptask.com/now-live-droptask-integration-with-google-calendar-and-contacts/
I'd like to be able to collapse the Project Members/Activity sidebar in order to have more working space. Thanks :)1 vote
Seeing a bug n Chrome on Windows 8 when attempting to drag a new Task to a Group. UI completely locks up. IE 10 works perfect.7 votes
This issue is now resolved – please retry. If you still have problems, please raise a support ticket and we will get straight to it.
You should be able to get to another project without having to go back to the Projects page first. This could easily be done by adding a dropdown menu to the breadcrumb bar (e.g. when I hover on 'Projects > Project 1', I get a dropdown menu that lists my other projects). This would speed up task switching significantly.4 votes
We have made a number of changes to the DropTask User Interface, including moving the projects into a left sidebar to allow faster switching between projects. You can read more about the changes on the DropTask blog – http://blog.droptask.com/the-new-droptask-is-here/
Usually a task have a beginning date and a finish date. It is useful for control it.7 votes
