Option to keep keep completed tasks visible
Give users the option to keep completed tasks visible in all views, even after the first day of completion. It is easier to be able to glance at what tasks have been completed without having to switch views, especially for people who are a part of a project, but aren't computer savvy. The least amount of steps to see completed tasks, the better.

Please allow for the resize of text in the bubbles!
Please allow for the resizing of text in the bubbles. I don't want to see "..." and then have to click every time to find out what it says, I should be able to see it at a glance hence the idea of a visual task manager. Thank you!
13 votesHi there,
Thank you for your feature suggestion. I’m pleased to let you know that recently we made some changes to how text was displayed on the task circle. Now, more of the task name will be displayed on the task circle, giving you that ‘at a glance’ view of your task while in the Canvas view.We hope you’re pleased with the changes that have been made. Trial Version
I suggest that you open a few more features during the trial period. Because you have so many limitations I am unable to determine just how well your program works, or not, unless I purchase. Using documents to collaborate on with external contractors is important to my daily duties but I cannot find out if there are any issues unless I commit to buying right away. Again, too many restrictions during the trial make it easy for people to skip past Droptask and try another program.

Stop hiding completed tasks
One of the things I hate about most project management tools is that completed tasks are hidden. And now I start using DropTask and find out this happens here as well. It's really annoying.
To correctly manage tasks and assess staff performance you need to easily see which tasks have been completed, not just which ones are left. Please can you change the feature that hides them after 1 day to be optional? It would be really really helpful. Thanks21 votesWe’ve just made a major update to Completed Tasks. Add completed tasks as a filter under the visual view
I just started using droptask and I'm very impressed with the tool. One thing I'm not to fond of is that I can't view the completed tasks in the visual view. I can only see them at the time I complete them and then the next day they are gone. I understand you can view them through the activity view, but it's not the same, the visual effect is greater. In the visual view I see you have filters for not started, pending, and on hold and it would be nice to also have a filter for completed tasks. I…

Give the list view the ability to view tasks by person
Currently in list view you can see the tasks as part of the various groups you've created. It would be great to see tasks by person.

make it possible to change ownership of a project so the original owner can leave the project.
I want to be able to transfer ownership as sometimes people leave a project but they were the one who created it on droptask.
22 votesIt is now possible to transfer ownership of a project to another team member. See here for more information on how to do this: http://support.droptask.com/knowledgebase/articles/666058-transfer-a-project

allow a user to see, in the group view, what tasks have been completed.
I think the only way I can see what tasks have been completed is through the activity page, but I really want to be able to see all of the tasks associated with a project in the group view. It helps my brain when I am able to see which tasks are done and who was assigned to them. Can't this be customizable?

Allow comments in Free Accounts
I understand you have to make money and the pro and team accounts are your means. But one issue I'm running into is how do I collaborate with people outside of my team. Contractors, Partners, etc. Will I need to buy an Pro account for each of them. I may only work with them for a short duration, maybe even one task. You have made a wonderful product that blends todo list and projects well. But in my opinion the collaboration piece is broken without the ability to conversate with non team members you have assign tasks to within the…

Provide filtering options in list view
Once I see all the tasks in list view, it would be ideal to be able to filter the list by assigned staff member, by tasks in different projects, etc. Having filtering options only in the circle view is so challenging and frustrating.
Thanks!

remove tasks once they are completed
Once you complete a task and mark the status as that, it would be great if the task then deleted from the group. Makes completing a task feel so much better!
1 voteWhen a task is marked as complete, it will be removed from the visual group view canvas the following day to give you a clearer focus on the tasks that need working on. Completed tasks can however, still be viewed in the Activity View.

Please add a task Start Date capability
Please add the capability of using a task START date. This is particularly important for recurring tasks. For instance, I have end of month tasks that always recur. Usually I need to start those tasks a day or two before the end of every month. As it stands now, the task shows up way early, creating a distraction.

Show completed tasks
Hello,
There should be an option in the Filter menu to select whether completed tasks should be shown or not. While a sprint/project is in progress, hiding such tasks does indeed reduce clutter, but in order to get an overview over how far a project has progressed, having all tasks shown in one place is essential.

Completed Tasks
There should be a way to view the completed tasks beyond the current day within the visual project layout. Going to Completed Tasks in the Activity View is nice, but there is a desire to see all completed tasks visually as well.

New feature - daily priority list
I think it would be very helpful to have the ability to create a daily list of priorities. DropTask is very good at collecting and organizing everything that needs done, but the "urgency" and "importance" designations are a little bit of a clunky way to manage these on a day-to-day basis.
For example, if I want to create my "to-do" list for tomorrow, it would be nice if there was a way to drag tasks from various projects onto this list. That way, the tasks would remain associated with their original projects, but I'd be able to prioritize what I…
